SquiggleDAO NFT Membership Mint

A month has passed since our NFT Membership launched. So far we have had over 650 memberships minted and this new membership format has enabled many people to formally join the DAO.

Finally launching this NFT Membership is an important step for the DAO. If you’re passionate about Squiggles and want to be a part of elevating them to their rightful place in culture as a beloved and seminal art project you should join us!

Reminder that this is a swap, meaning we are not selling any new mints/memberships. People are swapping their SQUIG tokens (ERC 20) for NFT memberships (ERC 721). You can read more details on our Twitter/X thread.

It’s also Important to note that this swap will be open indefinitely and there is no rush to mint. Please be careful, we suggest always navigating to the mint page directly from squiggledao.com to be safe.

SquiggleDAO Takes Over Glitch Marfa

We can’t wait for Art Blocks Marfa Weekend. A celebration of art and gathering of friends, artists, and collectors happening September 21–24. This year we are putting on an event at Glitch Gallery Marfa.

At the event there will be Squiggles from the DAO’s collection on display, pastries & coffee to snack and sip, and we are also giving away some Squiggle Skateboards + SquiggleDAO tee-shirts!

The gallery does have limited capacity and it is first come first serve so be sure to arrive on time so you can get in and have a chance to walk away with a prize!

Squiggle Skateboard Giveaway + Merch

Recently we announced our latest exciting Squiggle-inspired merch: The Squiggle Skateboard. Which we will be bringing some to Marfa this month!

The community instantly fell in love with these and wanted to get their hands on one. Well lucky for them, we couldn’t wait and announced we would be giving away 15 Skateboards to SquiggleDAO Members.

There was so much excitement that we decided to open it up and give one skateboard away publicly on Twitter/X as well and we couldn’t have anticipated how many people wanted one of these Squiggly boards!

Did you miss out on both of these giveaways? You’re not completely out of luck. We will be bringing some to Marfa and giving them away at our event at Glitch happening Friday September 22nd at 12pm CT.

We are proud to announce that we are partnering with Zharta to co-create our 2 upcoming events at Marfa and Art Basel Miami.

The End is Near For Squiggle Mints

Erick minted 66 new Squiggles on August 29th which included Squiggles #9932-9997. This leaves just 2 Squiggles left to be minted.

It was revealed that #9998 is going to a “special commemorative thing” to be announced by Erick soon. This leaves #9999, the last Squiggle mint, which we have known for months now is going to LACMA.

Now that we know the destinations of the final Squiggles and most have been minted, this forces us all to face the harsh reality that soon we won’t be celebrating or looking forward to new Squiggle mints. It is exciting as it is scary, but when Squiggles are finally minted out we will still be working toward our mission:

Elevate the Chromie Squiggle to its rightful place in culture as a beloved and seminal art project.

Squiggle Market Update

Another solid week for Squiggles amidst a weak overall market. This week brought us some really exciting transactions worth noting AND some whale activity

Floor is flat (10.1 vs 10.3 last week), number of pieces listed remains below 2% (just 195 listed) and volume is above our 250 ETH weekly benchmark (at 272 ETH to be precise).
