The 800lb Marble Squiggle Sculpture
The unveil of the Marble Squiggle Sculpture at Glitch Gallery was a success! It will be permanently located in front of the gallery. Having an installed sculpture to show, changes the conversation. As a concept alone, it wasn’t enough to generate interest before from other institutions. We now have a comprehensive understanding of the entire process, from creation to donation, for these sculptures. This puts us in a strong position to approach other galleries, museums, college campuses, and city officials to install future sculptures in culturally relevant places.
Marfa 2024
Our event brought together our community, fostering collaboration and showcasing the strength of the Squiggle culture. We had lots of insightful discussions, leaving Marfa inspired and motivated for next year. We received lots of positive feedback and we’re already planning Marfa 2025, thank you all for attending and supporting the DAO. The community and collectors are what makes it all so special.
Heat Sensitive Mug
During our Le Squig Cafe Event in Marfa we gave away heat sensitive mugs portraying Ghost Squiggle Trait, this was to continue to highlight certain community traits in a creative way. Check out our trait explorer for other community traits here.
